Music for Young Children
This is a comprehensive piano-based music program for children ages
3 & up. Created in Ontario in 1980, Music for Young Children is now being taught across Canada and internationally
in the United States, South Korea, Singapore and New Zealand. This program is an exciting, child-centered approach to learning
music. Working together in small age-specific groups with parents and teacher, children learn fundamental music skills. Singing,
movement, keyboard playing, games, music reading and theory are included in every lesson. Music history, composing, and performance
opportunities are highlights throughout the school year.
Students graduate from the program at a Grade One level,
and have the option of taking the examination with the Royal Conservatory of Music. An average student completes one level
per school year. However, the multiple levels make it possible for students to progress more quickly, or more slowly, depending
on their developmental needs.
Music for Young Children classes begin in September and continue,
with Christmas and Spring breaks, for 35 weeks, completing in early June.

Music for Little Mozarts
The Music for Little Mozarts series was written to encourage a
love for music in young children, ages 3 - 5, and to help them begin learning to play the piano. The books help develop
singing and listening skills while imparting an appreciation for many musical styles. Parents are required to attend lessons
with their child and are encouraged to participate actively in the learning process. The course centers around the adventures
of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse as they learn about music. Singing, movement, rhythm and listening games are included in
every lesson. Music for Little Mozarts classes begin throughout the school year. The first term is five weeks long,
subsequent terms are 10 weeks each. For more information, please visit www.musicforlittlemozarts.com

The Music Pups program is aimed at introducing music to children
aged 18 months - 4 years. It is designed to nurture the musical development of young children by motivating parents to engage
in musical activities with their child. Classes incorporate singing, dancing, rhythm development and games. Children are exposed
to a broad variety of music. The songs include a wide assortment of scales, rhythms, instruments and styles, to further stimulate
music development. Music Pups classes begin throughout the school year. Each term is 10 weeks in length.

to achieve high school accreditation by taking conservatory exams, or to simply learning "just for fun",
we will design a course of study appropriate for each student. We also offer theory classes in
groups or in private lessons. Rudiments, History and Harmony lessons are available.
